SEASON'S SPECIAL-THE MANGER

Christmas -a period set aside for the celebration of Christ birth. When we talk about birth especially in this Festive mood ,no other birth catches our attention other than the birth of JESUS CHRIST. Having left Heaven (a place of comfort) and being born to this Earth all in the mission of serving mankind from eternal destruction.
 I once asked myself
; how on earth would a saviour come so humble and be born in a manger,He would have chosen to be given birth to in the World's best Clinic then or attended to by the best Medics.Eventually i realise that he choose too to prove How Supreme he his .

 HOW A  STABLE LOOKS LIKE

The scene is familiar to billions the world over: a ramshackle but warm stable, a newborn baby lying in a manger, and a collection of livestock standing peacefully in the background. But was it really like that? What animals would actually have there been in a Bethlehem stable 2000 years ago, and what else was lurking in the shadows and dirt? There are no first-hand accounts of the birth of Jesus. Nevertheless, the archaeology of the region has given us a wealth of information on the history of domestic animals, and veterinary science allows us to make educated guesses about the animals likely to have witnessed such an event. Our sketch of the Nativity scene is in no way definitive, but it represents a best guess at what might have been around. Lowing cattle, etc Most of the familiar farmyard animals were firmly domesticated by Jesus’s time, possibly because wild animals were being over-hunted and people needed another food source. “With the exception of the turkey, all livestock animals had been domesticated a long time before the birth of Jesus,” says Albano Beja-Pereira of the University of Porto in Portugal. Sheep were probably the first, with an initial wave of domestication 11,000 years ago and a second 6000 years ago. Cattle followed shortly afterwards: they were domesticated in south-west Asia from wild animals called aurochs and then taken to Africa and Europe. Pigs were domesticated around the same time, in several different places
Creepy-crawlies The obvious answer is insects and parasites, in huge numbers. Densely packed creatures are always tempting targets for parasites looking for a home, and domestic animals are no exception. If we go with tradition and assume that Jesus was born in winter, any animals in the vicinity would have been crawling with lice. Cows would surely have been infested with cattle-biting lice, which chew on their hair and skin. “Lice are more common in winter, because the animals’ coats are longer and thickly matted,” says Richard Wall of the University of Bristol, UK. Animals shed their winter coats in spring, along with most of their lice, so a summer birth would have been less itchy. Anyone hanging around a stable would have been irritated by the bazaar fly, the Middle East equivalent of the common housefly. As well as buzzing around infuriatingly, the fly can also spread the eye disease trachoma. Plenty of insects bite humans, and some are willing to venture indoors. Stable flies mostly feed on the blood of livestock, particularly cattle, but they do sometimes bite humans as well. Aside from the obvious harmful effects of having one’s blood sucked, some of these flies carry anthrax. It’s best to be careful when using straw as bedding, too. It is often infested with straw itch mites, one of the most aptly named organisms around. They do not feed off humans, preferring to eat other insects, but if they get on your skin they can cause dermatitis. Flesh-eaters Annoying and potentially harmful as these species are, their unpleasantness pales in comparison with that of the sheep bot fly. Adult females squirt live maggots up the noses of sheep, where they crawl up into the sinuses and head cavity. The maggots spend the winter there, feeding on the animal’s mucous membranes. In spring they crawl back down into the nostril and get sneezed out. Notwithstanding their name, the flies don’t limit themselves to sheep. Unlucky humans can wind up with maggots living in their throats or up their noses, which can cause fever. Particularly unfortunate individuals suffer ophthalmomyiasis – maggots living in their eye sockets. Another insect with a similar lifestyle is the spotted flesh fly, a common pest in the Middle East. Disdaining noses, they insert their young into open wounds and scratches, including navel wounds where umbilical cords have been detached. They often go for the genitals, infecting millions of animals around the world. Humans are not safe, and there are rare cases of newborn babies being infected. We won’t even mention rats and mice. All in all, if you are about to give birth, try and arrange to do so somewhere other than a stable.

SIGNIFICANT OF THE MANGER

Believe it or not, Jesus wasn't actually born in a manger (a food trough for animals). But after Jesus was delivered, his mother did lay Him in a manger after wrapping Him in swaddling cloths. So why was Jesus laid in an animal feed trough in the first place? Thousands of years ago, God the Father promised His Son's birth soon after Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15). Because sin now created a rift in mankind's relationship with God, we needed a Savior who would sacrifice Himself as payment for the sins of those who believe in Him. To that end, God put a plan in motion that would result in the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of the only Being capable of becoming the perfect sacrifice God's justice and holiness required. When Jesus's mother, Mary, was pregnant, she was forced to travel to the town of Bethlehem with her husband, Joseph, so their family could be counted in a census of the entire Roman territory (Luke 2:1–5). This fulfilled the prophecy saying the Messiah would be born in that city: "But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days" (Micah 5:2). Some time after they arrived, Mary gave birth to Jesus. The Bible tells us that the reason Mary laid Jesus in the manger was because "there was no place for them in the inn" (Luke 2:7). There is more than one meaning for the Greek word for "inn" (kataluma)—it can refer to a hotel-like residence, but it can also be translated as "lodging-place." This has caused some controversy as to whether or not Jesus was actually born in a house with an area serving as a nighttime shelter, or a stable as many suppose (taken from the fact that Jesus was laid in a manger). Many houses in that day had a wooden or stone feeding trough for the animals that were brought in against the cold night. If Jesus was born in a house, it is likely that Mary and Joseph were relegated to the lower floor due to the overcrowding in the upper-level guest rooms. Regardless of the exact location of Jesus' birth, Jesus' first bed was an indicator of His nature and purpose. Rather than coming to earth amidst fanfare and in plush surroundings, the King of Creation and God's own Son was born among animals, with his very first visitors being lowly shepherds from the fields. This humble king would grow up to one day sacrifice His life on a cross for sinners, rise again, and then return to His Father's side in power and glory.

DAYs OF OUR YOUTH

when we talk of being a youth, there is no specific age bracket really.Even notable old men of God still call themselves youth.I would say,all those that are still single are still a youth(usually age 13-30).That means if we would agreed on that, then majority of the world popuplation falls in this bracket. We then have to come to the realisation that the period of youth or time of being a youth is really essential and a major determinat to how your future would be.
So many people in the bible have lived through this age.so many had a wonderful youth while a couple had a disastrous youth.Remember deniah ,Samson,Aaron two sons,Eli's two sons, even Samuel's son all thes ones do not have a wonderful youth.
Deniah,Jacob's only daughter was raped due to failure to listen to her father's instructions all the name of "I want to see the outside world"
Samson a vibrant promise from God.a chosen deliverer of the Israelites, ended up on Delilah lab,all because he could control his emotion.he eventually lost his power, though was given another chance but still ended up with with Philistines
Aaron's two sons rebel against moses,Eli two sons were nothing to write  about.Thank God we could remember David,Daniel,Shadrach ,Meshach, Abednego, Esther ,Philip's daughters and many others  .all these ones actually lived well during their youths no wonder ,their end was great .
David ,a man after God's heart was so obedient and always remember to ask God for directions, even when he fails too,and the consequence come,he always turn back to God to ask for forgiveness
Daniel,Shadrach ,Mesharch and Abegnego were just perfect set of friends who found themselves in a strange land, and yet they still held their stand.
Esther, during her youth did not involve in immoral act instead she channelled her beauty in a right way and that brought deliverance to the jews.
Philip's daughters were just a great influence during their youth, they  were virgins and could see visions. What of our perfect example Our lord Jesus Christ, he lived well during his youth.remember the time he was in the temple
Luke 2:42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.)

in conclusion ,I want to you to check out this poem below, remember your youths can still be revived and your future great if you can just give God a chance.

Young and vibrant minds whose thought are big
A generation of inquisitive teens and twentys
wanting to explore the world at all cost
without a thought of what once happen at the cross

So many years are spent in pursing our cause
without asking what God's plans are and what he want from us
We held on firmly to our idiosyncrasy
without a thought of what once happen at the cross

We struggle so hard to fill the emptiness and the boredom,
We look unto earthly pleasures to fill the void within
Even thought we are short of peace but we are already in it
without a thought of what once happen at the cross

At the cross Christ was crucified symbolising the freedom of mankind
He wants you all to make him ist place in our heart
He rilly want us to"Remember our Creator in the days of our youth
Or else when the evil days come and the years draw nigh
We won't say, I have no pleasure in my cause
after a great future has been wasted

Remember to share to a friend  after reading. God bless.

REJECTION-a better Medicine

As you look back on your life, you will realize that many of the times you thought you were being rejected from someone or something you wanted, you were in fact being redirected to someone or something you needed. Seeing this when you’re in the midst of feeling rejected, however, is quite tough. I know because I’ve been there. As soon as someone critiques, criticizes, and pushes you away – as soon as you are rejected – you find yourself thinking, “Well, that proves once again that I’m not worthy.” What you need to realize is, the other person or situation is NOT worthy of YOU and your particular journey.
Rejection is necessary medicine; it teaches you how to reject relationships and opportunities that aren’t going to work, so you can find the right ones that will. It doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough; it just means someone else failed to notice what you have to offer. Which means you now have more time to improve yourself and explore your options. Will you be bitter for a moment? Absolutely. Hurt? Of course, you’re human. There isn’t a soul on this planet that doesn’t feel a small fraction of their heart break at the realization of rejection. For a short time afterwards you will ask yourself every question you can think of…
What did I do wrong?
Why didn’t they care about me?
 How come? etc.
But then you have to let your emotions fuel you in a positive way! This is the important part. Let your feelings of rejection drive you, feed you, and inspire one heck of a powerful opening to the next chapter of your story. Honestly, if you constantly feel like someone is not treating you with respect, check your price tag. Perhaps you’ve subconsciously marked yourself down. Because it’s YOU who tells others what you’re worth by showing them what you’re willing to accept for your time and attention. So get off the clearance rack. And I mean right NOW! If you don’t value and respect yourself, wholeheartedly, no one else will either.
I know it’s hard to accept, but think about it… All too often we let the rejections of our past dictate every move we make thereafter. We literally do not know ourselves to be any better than what some intolerant person or shallow circumstance once told us was true. It’s time to realize this and squash the subconscious idea that you don’t deserve any better.

My BABY SISTER

Who says there is no magic in the world, has never experienced the birth of a child. Who says wealth is everything, has never seen a child smile. Who says this world is beyond saving, has forgotten that children represent hope.To look at a newborn is like finally opening a package you looked at and have been curious about for many months - and then its contents is a miracle of perfection that surpasses all you ever dreamed of.A baby is a blessing, a gift from heaven above, a precious little angel, to cherish and love.Babies are angels that fly to the earth, their wings disappear at the time of their birth. One look in their eyes and we are never the same, they are part of us now and that part has a name. That part is your heart and a bond that will not sever, our babies are angels, we love them forever! And to my baby sister I dedicate this poem

 so soft and sweet ,
cool and gentle like a heavenly breeze
Your beautiful eyes so small and blue, my
sweet baby sister just brand new
I cannot wait to watch you grow

Such a pretty stranger,
 Precious like an angel.
tiny little fingers of gold,
looking like her mommy's mold
from her little head to her tiny toes

as you lay on your cradle
i noticed a smile on your face
that joy of finally being on earth
to come and and fulfil purpose,
the reason you are sent here.

While you grow my beautiful baby sister
 be soft and kind hearted
 Be committed to your goal
By focused and do things differently
Grow to become a caring mother

LIGHTEN THE DARKEN WORLD 2

life is darken and needs light
Everything seems so dull and motionless
No matter how had we try it remains darken still
There is a way out of this darkness though
In CHRIST alone is the Light
 Peace that overcomes the darkness
His ready to shine the Light
Only to those who could surrender all to him
Only to those who could make him number 1
Then, you can carve out your light
like the little girl in the picture above
 And Lightened your DARKEN world

LIGHTEN THE DARKEN WORLD 1

The truth is the world we actually live in is darken. It needs light. No wonder we keep hearing and seeing strange things happening such as wars ,political instability, faminine, diseases ,sickness, inordinate affection between two males and females and lots more .To the world it's normal .To me i call it strange because that was not the normal plan of GOD for human race. All these started some thousands years ago when Man fell and Eden was taken away .leaving man in an UnEden vicinity.
life on its own has gotten its own shear of the darkness.what a pity!
it is crystal clear like the nursery school rhyme "MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB". quiet audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that life isn't 1+1=2.It's far above that. After days of thinking on how I can really describe life ,I finally came to conclusion joining the populace that " life goes on".
life seems so bright and clear when everything you have ever wished for or wanted is coming to reality.life's good when you are experiencing unremarkable success and breakthrough in carriers and endeavours .
life could be so cruel at times, especially when faced with failures, challenges, hardship and trials.life becomes motionless and dull .life becomes DARKEN!
THERE IS A WAY OUT THOUGH !!!

watch out for the concluding part! LIGHTEN THE DARKEN WORLD

TGIF-SPECIALS 1--WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW!!

What the world needs now
are sefless beings its sad ,but its the truth
Its many more people like me and you
A few more people with compassion
People with wisdom fashioned

What the world needs now are people inspired by love
A few more people that know how to live
who's thoughts are always very positive
Who look for some good, even in the very worsed
and never think to blame or curse the situation

 What the world needs now
are people who could take a deep thought
 and listen to their heart
What's that -calling from inside me
What's that sweet purr that curls
 Around the fervent heart
With delirious desire

what is that -that the world needs from me
is to see the world a real place to be
beacause this world seems to be different!
A kind of indifference rules the planet!
We need to be different to see this difference
So as to make different the difference

 This world needs me

         WHY?

I AM THE CHOSEN ONE!!

TENACITY

                                               TENACITY
Keep on pursuing, keep on trying until you get your dream being achieved and fulfilled. You are closer to achieving it than you ever think, do not give up. Just a little pressing harder, be focus and persevere. Pay the prize of;
 - self preparation
self discipline
-self denial
& -self determination.

Your trying times & challenges are only refining the "GOLD"out of you. My dear reader, even if it seems your strength is falling you,or your vision is no longer clear, still keep your eyes on the goal, re-strategize, be focus, and keep pursuing until you achieve your goal. And let me remind you that;
"The spider taketh hold with her hands and is in the king's palace" See how tenacious the spider could be.

Every morning as the sun rose, the spider that lived in the large azalea bush on the side of the garden path began the intricate and painstaking task of spinning a web. First he produced a fine thread to drift on a faint breeze across the narrow path towards the other side. When the thread caught on a leaf of the rhododendron bush on the opposite edge of the pathway, the spider felt the change in vibration and reeled it in to tighten the strand. Then he carefully walked along it and strengthened it with a second filament, and a third, and a fourth, and several more, until the thread was strong enough to support the rest of the web. Next he made the Y-shaped netting to create the first three radials and continued to add more radials and cross threads until the web was about 20 times his size. The result: something that was not only beautiful but also a means of survival (that’s how spiders catch their prey). But there was one major problem with this particular web – the spider was building it directly on the garden path, spanning from one side of the path to the other. So every time someone walked down that path, which was at least twice a day, the web was broken. Yet as I watched, for eight days in a row, every morning, as the sun rose, the spider began, once again, the intricate and painstaking task of spinning a web. As I watched this spider, I thought about how it embodied persistence and tenacity. Yet I knew, as surely as I understood that the sun would rise the next morning, that all the persistence and tenacity in the world would get this particular spider nowhere. It got me thinking further about whether such situations ever occur in our workplaces. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where persistence and tenacity simply cannot overcome the existing environment? I have always considered determination and drive to be important and valuable character traits. But there are times when, as leaders, we need to realize that doing the same thing over and over again with doggedness and diligence will never get us to a successful outcome.
